Wayne Mussehl

Wayne Mussehl, 76, of Calabash, N.C., passed away on Friday, May 8, 2020, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Wayne was born on May 12, 1943, to Chester and Clara Mussehl in Washington, D.C. After graduating from Frank W. Ballou High School in 1963 he decided he wanted to serve his country. Wayne joined the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. He was honorably discharged from the 3rd infantry division in 1969. After returning to Washington, Wayne landed his first job as a truck driver for Nabisco, where he carried out his entire career and retired after 39 …

She was born on April 4, 1947, in Conway to the late William McKinnley Chestnut and the late Rosa Mae Chestnut. Mrs. Walker was a long term resident of Tabor Commons in Tabor City, N.C., for the past 10 years where she developed many friendships. Mrs. Tyler was born on April 26, 1941, in Loris to the late James Alton Mincey and the late Dolly Beatrice McDaniels Mincey. She was a loving homemaker and a blessing to all who knew her. Joseph ‘Joe’ Quincy Hammond

Joseph “Joe” Quincy Hammond, 89, of Loris passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2020, at his home in Springfield, Ga. Joe was born in Mullins, on Oct. 25, 1930, to Martin Durham and Roxie Cleo Buffkin Hammond. He joined the United States Marine Corps in 1948, serving in the Korean and Vietnam wars.
