John “Jack” Kapral Jr., 82, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2020, at McLeod Seacoast Hospital in Little River.
Jack was born in 1937 in Dover, New Jersey. After attending Dean College, he proudly served in the U.S Army and then spent his professional career working at Hewlett Packard.
He will be remembered as a proud military veteran, loving husband and proud father. Jack will best be remembered as the man who could not sit still. Throughout his life, he loved fishing, watching the New York Giants, New York Mets and New Jersey Devils play, taking his son to motocross races and playing catch with his son. One of his fondest memories was going to Las Vegas in his 70s, where he watched his son get married and then played the slots all night long (literally).
Jack is survived by his son, John, and his daughter-in-law, Kelly.
Private family services were held at Lee Funeral Home. At a date to be determined, a public ceremony will be held at St. Brendan’s Catholic Church in Shallotte, N.C.
