Eunice Pearl Edwards Martin, widow of H. L. Martin of the Lawndale section of Loris, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2020, at Conway Medical Center in Conway.
Born on July 10, 1927, in Loris, she was the daughter of Lewis A. Edwards and Emma Jean Rogers Edwards. In addition to her husband of 65 years and her parents, she was predeceased by four sisters; Janie E. Graham, Lula E. Graham, Cletus E. Gore and Beulah E. Cullen as well as four brothers; Grady Edwards, Ernest Edwards, O. C. Edwards and Huger Edwards.
A member of Lawndale Baptist Church, she was an avid homemaker assisting her husband in farming. In addition, she was employed by W. F. Cox for 19 years prior to retirement.
Mrs. Martin is survived by two sons, Roger Dale Martin (Alma) of Goldsboro, N.C., and Travis Martin (Lynda) of Loris, one daughter, Dawn Martin Lyles (Harry) of Carolina Forest, three grandsons, Gregory Travis Martin (Morina), Jason Patrick Martin (Tracy) and David Lee Lyles (Jennifer), two granddaughters, Alison Lyles Branch (Josh) and Stacy Lyles Baysden (Jason), and ten great-grandchildren, Logan Martin, Jaden Baysden, Emerson Baysden, Evan Baysden, Elijah Branch, Sarah Branch, Silas Branch, Ezra Branch, Eliana Lyles and Caroline Lyles.
