Judy Vernell Hyatt

Judy Vernell Hyatt, 71, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2020, at her home in Loris. Mrs. Hyatt was born on April 16, 1949, in Columbus County, N.C., to the late Odell Baggett Miller and the late Hettie Mae Parker Miller Cox. Mrs. Hyatt was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She was a member of Goretown Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne Hyatt of Loris; son, Ricky Martin of Inman; daughter, Sandy Martin of Loris;  three grandchildren, Brian Weese, Amanda Weese and Austin Martin; one great-grandchild, Alexis Wade; three brothers, Charles Edward Miller, Graham Waldo Miller and Michael Waddell Miller; and nine sisters, Doris Eloise Miller Schreiber, Irma Lou Miller Horrell, Mable Miller Carpenter, Barbara Sue Miller Day, Sara Miller Rogers, Gwen Marie Miller Short, Nancy Nadene Miller Locklear, Marilyn Maxine Miller Waldon and Helen Faye Miller Blake.

Mrs. Hyatt was predeceased by her five brothers, Larry Dean Miller, Burris Eugene Miller, Kenneth Wade Miller, Eddie Laden Miller and Obbie Laden Miller.
