Carol Dailey Dunaway of Green Sea, age 65, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2020.
Mrs. Dunaway was born in Clinton, S.C a daughter of the late George and Vida Dailey. She was a teacher for many years with Horry County Schools, retiring from Aynor Middle School. Mrs. Dunaway loved music and treasured her time volunteering as a guardian ad litem for Horry County youth. She was a faithful member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Mrs. Dunaway was predeceased by her husband, Robert Dunaway.
Survivors include one son, Andrew D. Gable (Jennifer) of Myrtle Beach; one grandson, Hunter Gable (Destinee) of Conway; four brothers, George Dailey and Don Dailey (Cathy), all of Clinton, John Robert Dailey (Maria) of Columbia, and Jamie Dailey (Monica) of Whidbey Island, WA; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family truly regrets that due to the coronavirus and CDC regulations, the funeral service must be limited in attendance. Please contact the family for information and continue to keep them in your prayers.
