Dennis Ray Massengill

Dennis Ray Massengill, 71, of North Myrtle Beach passed away peacefully at Embrace Hospice House in Myrtle Beach.

Born on March 2, 1949, in Johnston County, N.C., he was the son of Herbert and Nellie Allen Massengill.

Dennis loved spending time on the beach and shagging.

Survivors include his brother, Larry James Massengill; sister, Joyce Rinehart; two nephews, Larry “Eugene” Massengill and Rodney Massengill (Sandy) and their children, Joshua and Julia; one niece, Denise Jernigan and her children, Hailee and Brysan; and many close and special friends.

Family and friends are warmly invited to celebrate the life of Dennis Ray Massengill at a memorial service to be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday, May 24, 2020, behind the O.D. Pavilion in North Myrtle Beach.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Embrace Hospice House, 175 Village Center Blvd., Myrtle Beach, S.C. 29579.
