Jean Avant Dorman

Our mother, Jean Avant Dorman, was eternally healed on Sunday, March 22, 2020, surrounded by her family.

Jean was blessed with her husband of 51 years, Lannis Dorman; daughter, Seina Todd and her husband Barry, their children, Lauren Edge and her husband Alston, Payton Todd and her boyfriend Austin Cooke, and Marleigh Todd; daughter, Cricket Fowler and her husband Bart and their children, Jeanana Fowler and Railyn Fowler.

In addition to her loving family, Jean is forever grateful for the many extended family and friends that she enjoyed over the years. She has now joined her mother, Hazel Avant, in Heaven.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. David Watts officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
