Little River Chamber honors wrestling team

The North Myrtle Beach High School wrestling team donates their time and muscles to help at the Little River festivals by assisting the vendors unload and set up their booths, delivering ice and soda, helping the staff set up chairs, tables and equipment and anything they need.

Jennifer Walters, president/CEO of the Little River Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center, said, “We thank the team, their coach, the administration at the high school and the parents for their efforts on our behalf.”

“The wrestling team has to pay their own way  when travelling to events and fundraising is necessary to ensure that these students have the opportunity to compete. The Little River Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center is charged with reinvesting profits from our festivals back into the community and the board of directors felt there was no better return on our investment than through this generation of volunteers,” says board member Les Gore. “We look forward to working with them for many years to come.”
