William Eddie Bullock Sr., 65, of Tabor City, N.C., passed away on Friday, May 15, 2020, at his residence.
Born on Feb. 1, 1955, in Loris, he was the son of the late Herbert and Edith G. Bullock. Mr. Bullock was a veteran of the U.S. National Guard. He worked with Baiden Associates as a crane operator for over twenty years. He will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and greatgrandfather.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by a son, William Eddie Bullock Jr.; two brothers, Danny and Junior Bullock; and one sister, Linda Branton.
Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Rita Bullock of Tabor City; two daughters, Heather Godwin (Darrell) of Clarendon, N.C., and Edith Buffkin (Perry) of Green Sea; twelve grandchildren, Taylor Buffkin, Kirk Buffkin, Marlanda Nayle, Ryan Smith, Amber Nayle, Deanna Buffkin, AJ Buffkin, Kevin Dale Ezzell, Nickleous Bullock, Shyianne Godwin, Bryson Godwin and Christian Jones; two great-grandchildren, Ian Buffkin and Grayslyn Collins; and two brothers, Pee Wee Bullock (Roxanne) of Tabor City and Woody Bullock (Sharon) of Green Sea.
Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 17, at Lake Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Mathew and the Rev. Tommy Shelley officiating.
